My antiques shop is situated in the historic market town of Barnard Castle in the north east of England - The shop sells very good pieces of furniture, pictures, silver, oriental antiques, lighting, art (antique and contemporary) and decorative objects from the 16th century right up to modern 20th century design

I'm currently looking for good antiques and art for immediate payment or sold on commission 

Barnard Castle has eight other antique shops, two antique centres, two art galleries and two interior design shops, so it is a great call for the antique trade, interior design and private buyers

Barnard Castle and the surrounding area has some stunning countryside - we're just to say in Durham and on the border with Yorkshire and Cumbria, so perfectly situated for The Lake District, The Yorkshire Moors, North Pennines and the Durham Dales - We're also home to The Bowes Museum, Raby Castle, Barnard Castle, High Force Waterfall, Rokeby Hall plus many other fabulous locations, hotels and restaurants... so it'll be well worth the trip.
